The castle courthouse is the way it is meant to be. As a member if you find a problem with the site or a member and want to report it to a mod, then you would report it in the court house, a mod will see it and be able to respond to the problem. This way only mods will see the comment, no one else has access to the thread, so it's protected! Can you make a thread there when you are logged in? that's the one I got, it installed it to my older 1.1 version, I thought it would ask or go to version 1.2, oh well! I got it all straightened out to find Crusader was still blocked by my firewall so I clicked it to unblock then lost the connection to the game. I apologize, I should have been prepared.

Well I got a late start today, you guys are using the HD game, I have 1.2 that came with Extreme installed now and I downloaded the patch and when I went to install it, it says I have 1.2 HD installed already, is that right, or is there a different patch needed, 1.3 is it not?

It's good to have more maps, fine if their not by you, you check them anyway, post away! And for the older ones that you can't remember who made them, as long as they are good maps and the original makers don't care, we won't, post them as yours! It's an interesting way to build a map but making it so 3 Lords can work one large castle is hard and time consuming, I did try it once, but it did not work out so well, maybe I should try again when I have more time. Yes "Four Brothers" is a hard map, I never won it either! I have 2 maps posted at HG that were built using the save to map trick, problem there is you can't script anything, the 2 maps I made work OK the first one "Buttu" is the best one "Arkenvale" could have been better, it needs more AI troops around their castles, but for some reason, when I tried to add more to the AI castles it would crash so I posted the map the way it is, still a good map but could have been better.

I'm trying to figure out when you want to play and the time zones. Right now it's 7:42 AM July 30 and in Novi Sad it's 4:42 Pm July 30. You want to play at 1900, that would be 7:PM, in about 2 hours. That would be 10:AM my time, did I get that right? I don't have HD setup and I guess you would use 1.2. Don't mind me, I don't play online very often, is Gameranger how you would play, and what map would you use? I might be able to play tomorrow, give you guys someone new to beat up=)

It's to bad the AI would not make better use of the outposts, like you said they keep sending small groups to your castle and they don't use the outposts for any defenses, my allies cry about being attacked while a long line of their troops are heading out to attack the AI, go figure! Your map is approved and is in the downloads. A good looking map, I take it that you intend the player to take the SW spot, the river could use some green around it, water is rarely with out green on the shores, a few lions in there to mix things up a bit, I will play it with your recommendations later. Over at HG some guys made custom AI castles that merged more than one castle together, maybe we could make something like that for Extreme. There was a thread at HG where someone suggested making custom war scenarios for Extreme, I gave it a try but the AI will not repair damage to the castle and they do not use the outposts, the troops just stack up and go nowhere. It's the same as making a custom war scenario for Crusader, you can build an AI castle, but they will not repair it. Anyway, good luck with your map!

It's not a contest yet, we have no response so have put it on hold for now, your chance may come yet. I think we might have to offer up a pad with a crest as well. Those are examples, you can have almost what ever you can come up with. The Arden kingmaker map has been posted in the downloads section, if anyone has any interest in joining the contest, please let us know, download the kingmaker map and see if you might be able to color in some territories and do a bit of scripting and have a map that might win you a custom mouse pad! If we get some interest we will post the contest map and see what you guys do with it.

The Knights title is reflective of who he is, first he becomes a Knight then is known as a bachelor and as a errant(wanderer he goes from Kingdom to Kingdom offering his services) Maybe, Knight Rookie, Knight Commander, Knight Major. He starts as a rookie then works his way up to commander then major. That's all I can think of, rookie sounds a little lame, private or just Knight. Maybe Knight Mercenary. I like that set of numbers myself, they have a gradual increase from start to finish, the 507 was just trying to get closer to 500.

I came up with some numbers you might like. The sequence is first then the accumulation of the sequence follows on the next line, I give you 3 examples. 1,1,2,2,3,3,4,5,8,10,14,18,22,27,32,37,44,52,61,72,84. =502 posts 1,2,4,6,9,12,16,21,29,39,53,71,93,120,152,189,233,285,346,418,502.accumulated posts 1,2,3,5,7,9,11,13,15,18,21,24,27,30,34,38,42,46,50,55,60.=511 posts 1,3,6,11,18,27,38,51,66,84,105,129,156,186,220,258,300,346,396,457,511.accumulated posts 1,2,3,4,6,8,10,12,15,18,21,24,27,31,35,39,43,46,50,54,58.=507 posts 1,3,6,10,16,24,34,46,61,79,100,124,151,182,217,256,299,345,395,449,507.accumulated posts The first line starts with, 1,1,2,2,3,3, the next 2 start with 1,2,3, These examples are for about 500 posts, I can make it any way you want., but getting exactly 500 is hard. The posts are shown in sequence and the accumulated posts show the amount of posts needed for each advancement. So if a person is going for the tenth advancement then he would be at the 10 ( I will use the last example) 18 and the accumulated amount of posts would be 79, he needs to make 21 more posts before advancing to the next level and then he would have 100 posts, then for the next advancement he would need 24 posts then he would have 124 posts by the time he has moved up 21 times he will have posted 507 times. I hope that explains it a little better=) That's funny, you guys posting while I'm posting, we're all posting=) If you want the numbers a little higher to start and less at the end I can do that for you, let me know exactly what you want and I will make it, I do this all the time for gambling, been doing it for years. You looking for a sequence of numbers, I can help with that. You could use a Fibonacci system, where the numbers progress by a multiple of the last 2 numbers, start with 1, then 2, then 1+2=3, then 2+3 =5, so you would have 1,2,3,5,8,13,21,35,56,91...That would add up to to much after 10 spots, but if you broke it down to categories like 3 groups of 7, then you could have 1,2,3,5,8,13,21, then 2,3,5,8,13,21,44, then 3,5,8,13,21,44,65., the first set has an accumulated posts of 53, then 96, then 159, to get to the final you would have made 306 posts. with the numbers you have now it's 21 sets of posts and 500 posts. The sets could be called, Peasant, Military and Royal Guard, Peasant could be 1,2,3,5,8,13,21, Military 3,5,8,13,21,44,65, Royal Guard 5,8,13,21,44,65,109, then you would have Peasant 53, Military 159, Royal Guard 265, with an accumulated posts of 477. I have word that the map is to hard. Does anyone else think it to hard? It's not supposed to be easy, it's a challenge! I tested the map to make sure it would work properly, I took the wine village several times and got around 1000 honor and I wasn't trying for honor. I wanted a timer, I could have either a win or a lose timer, I thought it best to have a win timer!

A Chefs Quest Contest Map Welcome to A Chefs Quest, the map is a war scenario, you will be invaded and you will have to fight to get a high score, your goal is to get as much Honor as you can in 15 years. There are 4 main scripted invasions, and 3 quests that will trigger invasions as well, as you complete the quests, building and market ques will change. Quest A, get 30 archers. Quest B, own 3 estates. Quest C, get 20 wine. The contest is open to registered players and staff members who want to enter, the staff member rule will be overruled for this contest, I Lord Vetka am putting this contest together for strongholdnations and will be the only judge. So Please Enter! When you start the map please SAVE your game, you will need to send this SAVE along with the final SAVE for your entry. I have not tried installing 2 versions of SH2. I do have 2 versions of SHC installed, 1.1 and 1.2 are installed separately and both work. I do believe that I can get 2 operating systems to work and be able to dual boot into either one and be able to have 2 installs if SH2 patched to 2 different levels. I will let you know when I get it working or not.

I had Gameranger when it came out. I installed XP onto the partition, I lost my Windows 7, so I got it back and now I can't access XP. From what I read XP needs to be installed first then 7 after. It's got to do with the windows start files, one is vista and one is legacy, they won't work together unless XP is installed first and I won't be doing that today. I said I would patch up to 1.4.1, after thinking about that I would rather not until the maps I'm working on are done. I guess I'm saying that I won't be able to play online today, Sorry!

OK, I wouldn't be able to play today. I still want to install XP onto my new hard drive and install version 1.4.1 on it as well so I can run both versions, I hope it works, if not I will patch up to 1.4.1 to play online tomorrow or the next time you guys want. I guess I need to install Gameranger and get my log in info fixed up.
