Just a quick note to let you guys know that I've uploaded some of the preview images of Stronghold Warlords to our gallery today. Warlords looks like an excellent game, you can check them out here.

I'm aware that things have seemed quite slow recently here when in reality, members just haven't been able to witness the work constantly going on behind the scenes. I've recently fixed & optimised a whole load of issues, including: Fixed Issue with Polls on the homepage not showing current results Added many more history sections on the main site Fixed pagination issue when viewing personal messages Fixed issue submitting new downloads Optimised and compressed a whole load of images to save your bandwidth and data usage Updated site carousel on the homepage Updated legal policies and terms of use Updated site privacy policy Updated site rules Updated site about page Added a new search feature for the gallery Added a new feature to search for all historical castles Added a new search feature to search through all historical articles Added new walkthroughs and saved games for the Stronghold 2 Peace Campaign Fixed error when viewing staff team page Updated Community FAQ Your admin team and in particular @Crusader1307 have done an outstanding job in continuing to run the site in light of all these issues, to them we owe a great deal of gratitude. More updates to the site will be coming in the next few months well, including some bigger and more exciting site changes. Your admin team will keep everyone up to date on this, in the meantime send me a PM of any outstanding issues and I'll get them fixed ASAP. Thanks everyone!

Noted. This is a most peculiar error and one I can only attribute to the regex when parsing posts. I'll have a look into this and see what's gone wrong. Rest assured that nothing like this has ever happened before, so it is a new error. Issue fixed. It was a censoring issue.

Hey Paul! I recently completed the Stronghold Legends campaigns again too. I'd forgotten how much I'd missed those games again. Older games are always the best :D You know me too well hahaha. That's a fantastic idea! I will do exactly that :) I'll look forward to hearing from you Paul with some of those printouts! Been a while since we've had any SH1 articles, so these would go down really well I think- with full credits going to SHK, of course :)

Welcome @Korsfarer Mogens, The staff have already made clear our policy and the fact we'd love to have more of your maps here, so I don't have anything more to add on that point. :) I simply wanted to state that the reason you were unable to post links was as a protection against spammy new members. You need to reach a threshold of 5 posts to be able to post links. I was going to promote you just now but have realised you've since passed the threshold and can post links anyway. Looking forward to seeing more of your maps uploaded soon :)

Hi @ImTheFrostbite, Unfortunately tagging someone doesn't provide them with any notification like on Facebook. It's simply a way of highlighting names in a thread. To do this, you use the user tags: [member=Lord_Chris[/user] produces [user]Lord_Chris] YOu can find a full list of all BBCode here.

This sounds fantastic! You'll have to let me know when it's done so I can play it :) It's been a very long time now since I played a game of Crusader 2. Looking forward to it!

You are always more than welcome to submit a file to us here as well for us to host, as that way players will be able to download without needing to provide any personal information :) I've tried downloading, but unfortunately I can't seem to get it working (Windows 8.1). Can you provide a step by step guide of how to use this file exactly?

That's an excellent idea about the additional link. I've added it in now :) As far as the server error goes in Chrome (which is very strange I agree), do you have any idea what the actual error was? This could be very important in helping me fix this ongoing issue.

We really do have some quality content on the site. I'm sorry to hear you've had such a bad experience with Stronghold Heaven. I'm afraid I personally also had a similar experience with submitting files, which is ironically how I created Stronghold Nation in the first place. Yes it was me who fixed the code when I viewed the thread :) The error itself I noticed generally when posting....... I honestly thought it had gone again. Hmmm .......

Holiday, what's that! ;) All you need is to be a workaholic like me :lol: :lol: In all seriousness though, glad you enjoyed it @EaglePrince....... and I'll definitely look forward to seeing some photos of it! I've recently taken up a new job to do with my political work, so there's plenty there to keep me busy for now. I just wish I had more time to focus on the site ......

This looks like a really good game....... I've said all along that there's something about this Warlords game that has an interesting twist to it. I will definitely be picking up a copy to play with, I think it's a good way for them to move forward after Crusader 2 as well. I also think there's a good potential for the site on this one too if we can move quickly enough- we already have new sections in place for content.
