At the moment, we'll just take it that Stronghold 2 is going ahead for both days. If anyone posts in the meantime then we'll change one to Legends if necessary and the 17th isn't enough.

EaglePrince is correct. It's far better having a hard map than it being too easy.

OK then, I'll change one to SH2, but I'll see which days Bradley can come too first. Hope he can come, I'll have to crush him on SHL like he did with me on SH2 :) Well, I've got a new copy, but it won't install on Windows 8 so I'll have to see if I can install in on my windows 7 machine and copy the files across when I have time.

Stronghold Legends multiplayer again!

Thread merged with "Stronghold Europe" in Site Questions and Support. I think that at the moment, considering some of our download categories are practically empty (most in some sections) we should wait until we get more files, and more widely spread before we make any decisions such as creating more categories that may just remain empty or nearly empty - especially since the forum has so far had no turnout. In the meantime, you should upload any stronghold Europe files under another category for crusader, but make sure to type that it is for stronghold Europe. If we get about twenty to thirty files that are worth a category of it's own, I'll consider it then.

That is one thing I debated about, and many of the ranks are taken from Stronghold 2. We are considering changing the user titles on the site, and you have a chance to help! All you need to do is post below with the title you think a user group should get (or the amount of posts that a user should post to get that title) and you could have some ranks named as yours! Example: Knight Bachelor [currently knight] Knight Errant [64 posts] Good luck! The contest will take place until the 20th July, after which the management team will deliberate upon the entries and the new ranks will be revealed! Choose the amount of user groups or ranks you would like - good luck :)

To save any confusion of user group colours, we are slightly changing the group colours. The staff colours are still the same - Administrators are red, global moderators are dark blue, moderators are green with supporters as pink and former staff as cyan. The same goes for new members, they will remain dark green when registering. But for users who are above the rank of a Peasant (new member) they will remain a standard colour which will stop any confusion. To this rule, there are two exceptions: The "Dukes" user group will remain gold, and the "Royal Guard" (contributors) will remain purple.

No that wouldn't work as the game installs to your hard drive and therefore, for everyone. You can choose whether individual users can use that application, but it will be installed for all.

That isn't currently an option, and I don't really see it as something that is essential - plus I don't really think it would look very good. The divider would still be in the same place and it would look odd. To be honest, I think it's probably harder to do than it's worth.

I wouldn't know anything about multiplayer as I've never played it. The campaign I've only loaded for a quick check, and it appeared ok for me. I haven't heard anything about that archer issue, nor have I encountered it myself so I can't understand that. I mainly play on free mode or just built custom settlements and I like it from my experience - I like the way you can rotate buildings 360 degrees and the graphics is much better. The music could do with updating, as to me, it didn't sound right in SH3, and so could the troop speech, but from what I played I could see little massively wrong with it - but, I've only bought it within the last year and didn't get it when it was supposedly at its worst. Do keep in mind though that it was released early due to the press. It can't be that heavily modified as the game has been compiled and the source code can't be edited anymore. It would have to be decompiled (which is virtually impossible to my knowledge), firefly would have to release the source code, or they would have to edit it then recompile it.

I have the gold version, and in my opinion, it's pretty good - though I haven't played it much. It could do with polishing up slightly, and a skirmish mode would be nice - but CivCity Rome doesn't have one either. It isn't the kind of game you can constantly play, but it is worth the money you pay for it, just.

The map wouldn't be a problem, but it would be easier if you could upgrade your version for simplicity so we all have the same version - it stops bugs appearing (like for example when I modified my game and my stockpile had a second floor viewable by all players :) ) I haven't tried playing SH2 with different versions now that multiplayer is on GameRanger, but it may work. If there's a time which works better for you let us know and I'll see if we can re-arrange the game for then (or closer to that time) How about we try out the Arden map then? - The only issue is that there would be a maximum of three (I think) players on the map.

Right, I just got a bit suspicious by the link containing "cd key". But you can guarantee that that game is a legal copy?

So this is some kind of keygen/pirated copy or serial key for the game?
