  1. It should be easier to find, it took me a couple of minutes to find it as well. @Charles of Tours showed me another way as well, but I couldn't find that.
  2. I didn't make it - it was part of the forum by default :) I'll remove one of the fields from the messaging section and replace it with that, it makes more sense, plus they are way out dated anyway. And I've just answered :) http://forums.stronghold-nation.com/post/1044/#p1044
  3. Gameranger -> on the "friends" menu, right click on your username (in bold) -> show info
  4. Assassins in Stronghold 2 are a lot harder to kill, and in number, they can easily kill enemy lords. It would be better having no assassins in stronghold 2.
  5. And if I got that right, it should also be 6 PM my time? That will probably be me - I can't seem to get back into the SHC routine now :)
  6. To make multiplayer matches fairer, we have decided to come up with a set of rules to stop any cheating for Stronghold Legends, just to make sure that all players are on the same page at the start of the game. Any users who continuously ignore these may be banned from taking part in further multiplayer matches. Dragons cannot be used to attack the lord. They can attack any other unit, but as @Charles of Tours experienced, it abruptly ends your game. Sorry for that :) Fantasy Units cannot be used in excess; you can use fantasy units (as that is down to your own strategy) but please refrain from spawning millions of the more powerful ones. I.E. Frost Giants, Vampiric Creepers.etc. Siege equipment: Rather than banning all the powerful siege equipment (which to be honest is a shame) you can not use them in excess. These include Stake Hurlers, Trebuchets, Fire Ballistas Buildings: All buildings can be placed No excess white witches and crossbowmen to stop spam and complete destruction of enemy units easily. These may get updated at a later date, so stay tuned for edits.
  7. Certainly seems like a good idea. Thread Stuck. I'll do the same for Legends. @ Bradley: would you like to do the one for SH2?
  8. I haven't solved my installation issue yet, and if I'm perfectly honest I don't really think that I'll be able to either. I only see two options: 1.) I install it on my windows 7 machine (if it works) and play there, or connect with remote desktop and play from my laptop. 2.) I install it there and attempt to copy the files across (which is highly likely to fail due to the fact SHC has registry entries) I'll let you know how it goes, but for the moment just assume I'm out.
  9. The moat for SHL is located at /Stronghold Legends/terrain/river/moat.bik, and yes, it is the same file. You should be able to switch those and it should change the moat in SH2.
  10. Nope, it's been compiled, and it's irreversible to my knowledge. But it's not legal anyway. The second part isn't probably very easy to do, because of the fact that the file types are completely different and are made up of different files for those.
  11. If you only want it to look different, then all you need to do is open the file /stronghold 2/terrain/river/moat.bik and edit it. Please note that it would still take up the same amount of space on a map. You can convert it from a bink file to being editable/openable ?/viewable by downloading rad game tools and converting it with that.
  12. Stronghold Crusader 2 is now available for pre-order on steam. You can pre-order the game here. Source: http://www.strongholdcrusader2.com/?p=948
  13. It's a bit vague. In what way? The texture?
  14. Sorry for not replying sooner, I didn't see this message and it didn't appear as new when I logged in. Try clearing your browser cache, I changed the links and it may not have been refreshed yet. Whoops, I was clicking on the links in the paragraph, not the heading links. Issue fixed - thanks!
  15. There are spaces, in your image URL. When you add %20 instead of the spaces, this is the result:
  16. Don't add any spaces to your URL, make them %20 instead.
  17. You mean the edit link isn't there or you just get that error? EDIT: Please try now.
  18. Please provide a link to the post you are attempting to edit, the exact link you were attempting to post as well as any errors/messages you are receiving. EDIT: The posting of links was a permissions issue, your user group had been denied it after the change. That should be fixed now.
  19. Not to worry, good luck - hope you get the job! :D
  20. Very good job, that looks very artistic and loads better than the old one. Hmm, I don't know about that.... :)
  21. The group titles themselves aren't supposed to be medieval anymore - otherwise people may not know who is who, it's the user titles that are medieval.
