Well, you'll definitely have to let us know the outcome of this one @xiiMaRcLeoN! :)

I never really had enough time to look into it properly in SH3 (as I was busy with the site, real life commitments and I got the game quite a while after it was released) but if like Kirk says it is practically exactly the same as SH3, you can do the following: tools -> edit scenario and the options will become available to you to alter the map type and other mission options.

Some of the staff are creating articles on the site, the editor will be amongst them, stay tuned they should be adding them at any time. As my game has still not arrived I am unable to comment on the editor. However, I'm sure @Lord Vetka will give you some tips when he views the thread as he does have the game.

Ok, I'll add that category in then it's not that big. I've fixed the image, thanks. -
We're from the United Kingdom, the same default time zone as the site - currently 10:16 AM. But time zones should make no difference - any bet it takes it from your computer time.

@@Nigel: I removed your post, it would have been easier to have just edited it and told me where you wanted it moving to though and I'd have moved it for you. Keep us updated Mathew ;)

What time of day (in real life) did you play these missions? Was it around night? Maybe it could detect the time of day you're playing and set that.

Thanks for posting this Nigel, I'll make it a sticky.

Yes, good point.
-
@ @Lord Vetka: I'll move this to the announcements forum as it will then appear on the homepage as well.

If you hover over your image (or click on it), it links to Photo Bucket. But it should link to the URL I posted above as that is this topic's link.
-
You've linked to the original image, but it needs to be linked to this thread: http://forums.stronghold-nation.com/topic/297-signature-of-the-month-october-2014/

Well, that's certainly pretty good, but I'm still convinced some pages could be faster. Still, to keep relevant to the discussion, I'll post this: People say that Firefox and Chrome are better purely because of the speed - but in fact on my PC I'm convinced that Chrome is the slowest out of all of them and Firefox is only slightly faster. Internet Explorer definitely loads the fastest for me.

Sorry @Nigel, didn't see your post there. I've added a miscellaneous category - but before adding a saved games one how big is a saved game on average? -

For the moment, I've added N/A as I an unaware of what patches are what (since my game has still not arrived yet...). Thanks for brining it to my attention! -

If you have questions for a individual user, you should shoot them a PM as they will be more likely to see it.

If I'm perfectly honest, I'm still not satisfied they load fast enough - especially the homepage and the rest of the main site. The forums and the download section are pretty fast though.

Me and my friends have just had the exact same argument last week over browsers... :) I think Internet Explorer is probably the best browser, it's certainly the least complex and in my opinion, it looks the best as well. Pages seem to load a lot faster on it for me. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera - they are good, but just don't have the same feel for me, I don't know why. It isn't as slow as IE 10, which is a good thing, and everything is square and rectangular which at first was annoying - but I have Windows 8 which is exactly the same, so I think over time I must have just got used to how square it is. That's because that's what I use, and I've created it using IE. I have done a couple of other checks in the other browsers, but IE has the best compatibility.

I use paint.net and now, photoshop CS5 as well. But you can use online generators, any paint programs or an means to generate your signature. A good online generator I use sometimes is bannerfans.com

It's only really servers for websites that use Linux (that I know of, though it has become increasingly poplar over the last few years). They have flaws, and they aren't perfect, but I don't think it will be patched quite as quick as that, maybe in a month or two though.

You post it in this thread, but you also link the image to this thread in your signature.

Last month, the winners were myself and @EaglePrince for our "Stronghold Crusader or Stronghold Crusader 2 related" themed contest. We have deliberated upon the following theme: soldiers from Stronghold We have chosen to clarify with the following: Oh, and if you are considering joining in, it wouldn't hurt to drop in a note so I hurry along those "last minute" sort of people! :) The contest will run until the 20th of October, and after this date the voting will begin. But do remember... the longer you have your signature posted, the more people will notice it! Basic Rules: http://forums.stronghold-nation.com/topic/94-announcing-signature-of-the-month/ ** Voting ** @Lord_Chris @EaglePrince @Mathew Steel

I place one guard post next to my granary (so I don't waste peasants) and I place several Humiliation Mask's because they tend to generate a lot of honour. They're all effective, it depends on what you would rather use and for what purpose - for example, you get no honour for the executioner's block, but you do get an instant rehabilitation.

It's certainly possible, but it would be misused by spammers and would result in all sorts of annoyances.
