  1. Okay so I would play test this map again but it is actually pretty difficult and I somehow can't get past my own mission. For context there were no changes to the specified mission I am talking about. So the premise of the map is that you play as the evil Sorcerer Janibas before the Ice campaign. The map spans 5 missions. Yesterday I noticed mission 2 had an issue-that being you were supposed to kill the blue lord and win but that didn't work since I forgot to set the flag color to blue and instead it was set to all which was not what was intended. I fixed the issue I think. And the reason I say I think is because of why I am posting this here. For some reason I am having a difficult time actually winning the second mission after making the fix. Keep in mind the only thing I changed was the before mentioned win condition. The mission itself should be the exact same. I'm pretty busy IRL with school and stuff and was hoping someone would play test the map for me. It takes a bit to win so I would also recommend saving often.

So after having many crashing issues with version 1.2 of Stronghold Legends and shortly after realizing I lost the Stronghold Collection disk sometime after Christmas (if you don't know you can still play the Stronghold Collection games even if you lose the disk if the game is already downloaded to your computer) I uninstalled Stronghold Legends v 1.2 from my laptop a day or two ago. Today I did obtain the game again through Steam (yay!) and whilst playing through the King Arthur campaign (just completed The Making of Sir Gareth) it occurred to me that even though I do have previous map files saved onto another folder on my laptop I made those those maps with version 1.2. Would placing the v 1.2 map files translate well into the Steam edition? I don't want to have to remake about 5 ish maps. I already have two new map ideas that came to me yesterday and wanted to edit 1 other map to see if it's a map I want to post.
  3. Okay well...it works. They still have dumb siege placement but the map DOES work so it's finished. Just to put a reminder for myself: Yes I did submit the file.
  4. Thanks. I took your advice and they did attack however I ran into one more problem: siege position. As you can see they placed it in a pretty bad spot where they can easily be sniped. Can I create AI helpers for this without a keep? For the siege camp position can you suggest where to place the siege camp without a keep present? It seems the final invasion does NOT put their camp in a good position for attack I actually did have some ideas that came to mind for mission 1 with the test play as well since you could technically cheese the first mission's good requirements by killing Beowulf automatically removing the blockade making that part of the mission exploitable. I have changed that as well by painting that patch of land a different color. Additionally I buffed up their siege equipment and added laddermen to the invasions. I forgot about laddermen as I personally barley use them. If nothing can be done then this map is basically completed. Thank you for all the help.
  5. I don't understand. They're still not attacking... I set up the siege points, I told them to attack, I removed the delay. Why aren't they attacking? The previous missions invasions worked but these didn't...
  6. No that's the thing. They setup the siege already having the equipment and just don't attack. I tried fixing it but then just made it worse...they straight up didn't appear. And btw I tried your recommendation. Well...they got closer... I guess I could technically just have their siege point be put smack dab where I think they should go. Once my ranged troops fire onto them they'll be aggroed? If I do that could the problem technically be solved that way? I mean since they aren't doing the usual thing where they set up and initiate the attack... EDIT: Well that didn't work as I wanted...I'll change the flag color of some of the invaders and test it out again tomorrow. EDIT II: I put their siege point closer to the castle. Whilst I doubt they will work traditionally perhaps that will help by having the player automatically aggro the AI. BEFORE: AFTER
  7. I have been working on a map for the past 2-3 days now. It is a 3 part map. Parts 1 and 2 work perfectly fine but the third part you are to face down the final invasions. The invasions show up but unfortunately they don't attack no matter what. They are just standing where I set them but they don't start their siege. Even though they have their siege equipment and everything set up. I tried playing a bit with the delay/date and I assume delay (from what I have read) means that they will wait however number of months the delay is set to to attack. I don't understand because in the previous missions the invasions work just fine. Should I be putting some proximity markers or something? Why don't they initiate the attack?
  8. Well dang. I think I had 11 invasions scripted although for some reason only 1 was working. I don't really know why that is though. I have the marker proximities placed down and everything. And the thing is I actually have other maps where the script works as intended and invasions happen as they were scripted to. I just chose this specific map randomly and it just happens that this is the one where it doesn't work. I guess I can upload some of those maps in the future instead since they do work as intended. I know ya'll are strict and everything about this but wouldn't it just be more useful if the users themselves can delete their own work? I mean you can still approve it and I can see people abusing this but I'm just saying wouldn't it just be more convenient for the staff? Because what if the user wants to add or delete stuff from their map later down the line? Can they not do that because it was already uploaded? And as I said luckily I DO have other maps where the invasions work as intended. In fact I may actually upload another one today. (Don't worry the invasions on this one works. I tested it out yesterday and am planning to do so again today. I don't know why the other one didn't). Although I also am a bit busy today with other things so it maybe tomorrow. Anyways thanks for the help.
  9. I know it was approved. It's just that in the future when I make maps I don't want to accidentally upload the same map twice or have that be a reoccurring issue for mods if I somehow forget I uploaded a map already and try to upload it again. Or if I make edits to the map to add/tweak some stuff into it. For example "The Great Ice War" is 90% done but I couldn't get all the invasions to occur in the script for the second mission. I don't know why that is since in the second mission Arthur and Vlad were supposed to attack you with I believe 3 waves and an additional massive assault but that didn't happen in the scenario for some reason. So if I ever make updates to it to fix that am I allowed to replace the file? I couldn't get the later invasions to work so I just bit the bullet and uploaded it since I already worked so hard on it and it's my first upload. That's all. I have a good amount of others but I don't think many are up to quality other than one other map I am working on. I still am trying to figure out all the details for what exactly I want in that scenario though. Thank you for replying.
  10. Hi so I just joined yesterday and was wondering if there is any way to see you can see what maps you have uploaded for Custom War scenarios? I just uploaded a Stronghold Legends user map I made but I have bad memory and realized when I uploaded it just now that it may have been a reupload from yesterday. Also I have 15 user made maps (1 freebuild, the other 14 are CW) so I can easily see myself accidentally reuploading maps especially if they have not shown on the website yet. How can I keep track of this? Or will the moderators just let me know? Thank you in advance.
