I think the idea of a fight like this could be very good and a tactical challange. I however don't think that we should give pre-determined armies because people will most likely try the same tactic or copy/ counter the enemy. In my opinion it would be better to give everyone a pre-determined amount of money and then let them chose what troops they want themself. And really if someone wants to go against me with an army that mainly consists of knight then I wish him good luck because that truly is not how you win, they are very expensive and slow and can be coutered quite easily if you have the troops for it and are not forced to hold one spot. The small castles idea sounds fun but I think that it would most likely end in a waiting contest becuase the defender will most likely have an advantage and thus nobody will want to attack first. But no matter what, I'm up for a battling challange so if this will happen you can count me in.

Thank you, it's a great honour to recieve this title. Thanks to Nigel and the other creators of this competition because it was awesome and I loved doing those tricky battles. If there will be more similar competitions I'll definitely participate. But for now the time for fighting is done and its time to join King Richard at his feast!

That indeed was a very long and hard siege but again in the end I managed to put Sir Nigel down. In the beginning I wanted to safe some money and engineers for King Richard only using 10k and 3 trebuchets but after Sir Nigel managed to take out 2 of those trebuchets I decided to use those few extra engineers I had and make some more offensive armaments leaving me with 8k left for King Richard. Thanks for this great battle Sir Nigel and good luck to all the other lords who are going to besiege this castle.

After a second and even more challanging siege I managed to put Sir Nigel down once more. He had tried several things against me I did not expect but in the end he again had to kneel down before me with all of his soldiers dead beside him. After the siege I looked at my treasury and found out that I had more then 10k and once I realised that I knew that I had to make a deal with Sir Richard determining how much would be fair for me to keep. It will be interesting to hear how the other sieges will go and wish all the other lords the best of luck in their attacks.

After a long and hard siege I managed to take Upway castle from Sir Nigel. I spent all the gold that Lord Richard gave me wisely and managed to use it all. Some citizens however paid me their taxes hoping that they would not have to fight for me. After the battle I removed their 2 coins from the treasury and put them on their bodies as a token of respect for the fallen. Sir Nigel did a very good job on defending a very well designed castle and I wish the other contestors good luck with besieging it.
