Hmm, very useful thing. I taught one could have version 1.2 only if he had installed Stronghold Crusader Extreme. :) Now I see I was wrong. Thanks for sharing this one, Lord Chris.
You can do that for all the games, you never have to do it manually.. providing you have the patch prior already installed. It acts as a choice for those people who have firewall issues or internet connectivity problems.
Plus, crusader extreme is a version of the original in a way, so it will work on the normal one :)
Also, this appears to be in the Modifications category. Changed to Miscellaneous.
